Our Friend and Yours, Mr. Pete Ramsey

We’re deeply saddened to say that we’ve lost one of our musical brothers. Pete Ramsey was a driving force behind the success of Revel in Red. There are no words that could be expressed to say how big of a loss we feel. The giant void he left will be felt by all for a long time to come.

As we’re taking our time to cope and grieve, we continue to find our therapy in music and of course, the togetherness and brotherhood that we share in this band. Though it will be hard, we will power though this in typical “Pete” fashion. He fought hard to help us rise in our success and we feel it would be an injustice not to continue on in his legacy. It would NEVER feel the same, and there will be times that this hits harder than others. But, rest assured, we’ll give it our absolute best to honor what we’ve built together. For us, and for the fans.

Pete was a best friend to all, a shoulder to lean on, a giver of advice, someone who always looked for the best in others, an inspiration for the next generation of musicians, a giver to those who were in need, a servant of justice, and most of all, a good human being. Pete embodied what everyone should strive for on stage. The technical ability, the showmanship, and the personality. And of course, all of the “Rock Star” faces that he would make.

Please raise a toast to Pete Ramsey, and let’s consider his time with us on this earth as a true blessing. All of our days have an unknown expiration date; let’s do as much good as we can while it lasts. We’ll miss you POS.

Much love,
❤❤❤❤❤
