DESCRIPTION:The Capitol Theater is excited to announce the return of Revel in Red to start the theater’s 14th year of providing Burlington and surrounding communities with quality programming. \nGet your tickets here! \nRevel in Red has entertained our community over the past five years performing to audiences at Heritage Days\, Crime Stoppers\, The Summer Music Series on the river and the Capitol Theater.\nThis year’s performance will be another great night of classic rock music but it will also be a night to remember long time Revel in Red musician their bassist Pete Ramsey that lost his life this past summer in a tragic accident\, leaving his wife\, two children and his brothers in the band. \nThe January performance will provide our community the opportunity to commemorate the legacy of Pete Ramsey as a musician and great human being who always rocked on stage but was willing to take time for those requesting it and a pleasure to work with. \nThe Capitol will accept good will donations the night of the performance that will go to his family. \nSpecial Guests opening the show!\nEmperors & Angels is an outrageous group of friends who matriculate from the Mighty Midwest. Destiny may have struck them later in life\, but the band is ready to face its newest obstacles. \nThe members grew up in a powerful local music scene. Although the formation of EA solidifies the groups first musical endeavor as Peoria\, Illinois relentless foursome! \nMatthew\, Bela\, Jason and Brett collectively have pro coast to coast touring experience having graced the stage with the talents of Alice Cooper\, Anthrax\, Candlebox\, Chevelle\, Dark New Day\, Iron Maiden\, Five Finger Death Punch\, Hell Yeah\, Hinder\, Lamb of God\, Linkin Park\, Nothing More\, Nonpoint\, Our Lady Peace\, Papa Roach\, Sevendust\, Shinedown\, Taproot\, Three Days Grace\, Red\, among others.
